We have transformed traditional piano lessons and developed them into an even more vibrant & fun learning experience. Students learn how to play songs they love and hear on the radio. They also learn to read music, study theory and have a solid traditional piano lesson to build upon. We use the Faber Piano Adventures – Sight Reading, Lesson & Theory books along with our own Elevate Chord Families book in each lesson. The key is to bring in songs the students like to listen to. Chords learned from songs they choose point back to theory and back to reading music. They start to see how it’s all connected and grow a new appreciation for the well-rounded concept of reading music, understanding theory and playing by ear.
We believe whole-heartedly in our partner system which brings in the concept of learning fundamentals with a peer. It makes learning piano more fun and energized plus offers new and innovative teaching opportunities. Our goal is to inspire and keep fun in the mix. The partner system enables us to give awesome piano lessons while having fun at the same time!
Part of being a musician is performing with a group. There is so much to learn once you step on that stage and our students have that opportunity within their own band!
Every other week all piano students participate in
Rock Band; a student favorite for sure!
The time the kids spend on stage is vital to their growth as young musicians: counting in the song, getting the right pitch, listening, staying together in tempo, eye contact, dynamics, emotion, movement etc. As the students work through their songs on stage our teachers are right there to coach and teach them every step of the way!

"Everybody realizes how wonderful they are"
" They're great. They've really made a name for themselves. Everybody realizes how wonderful they are. So it just brings more and more people in. And they do a lot of things in the community, they'll play a lot of gigs, like the neighborhood summer parties and pool parties and things like that." - Sarah Pagano
"What every parent wants"
" They're just happy to perform. And when they're up on stage performing, it's pure bliss. They are just in their own world, enjoying themselves. when they come off that stage, they're just so happy."
- Sharon Hourihan
